About CardDeck: one deck for every identity
About CardDeck: we make one platform for the cards, codes and contacts people and organizations use to identify themselves and connect, from a personal digital business card to a school's full batch of student IDs.
CardDeck is a platform for creating, sharing and managing digital identity cards. From one account you can make digital business cards, QR codes, barcodes, employee and student ID cards, event badges, membership cards and shareable profiles, generate them in bulk from a spreadsheet, and turn every scan into a saved contact.
- CardDeck gives every identity a professional digital home: cards, codes and contacts in one deck.
- It serves individuals, teams, schools, event organizers and membership organizations.
- Cards open in any phone browser, so nobody needs an app to view one.
- Five principles guide the product: professional by default, easy to share, designed for teams, built to scale, simple to manage.
- Pricing is published in USD and INR, with a free plan that never expires.
Why we built CardDeck
We built CardDeck because the cards people carry are scattered across too many tools. A typical organization orders paper business cards from a print shop, makes employee IDs in a desktop design program, builds event badges in a spreadsheet mail merge, and generates QR codes and barcodes on whichever free website comes up first. Each tool has its own template, its own data and its own way of going out of date.
The result is familiar: a business card with an old phone number, an ID card for someone who left months ago, a printed QR code that points nowhere, and a stack of contacts from an event that never reach anyone's follow-up list.
CardDeck brings all of that into one place. You set your brand once and use it on every card type. You import a list once and generate every card from it. When details change, you edit once and the update appears everywhere the card has been shared.
What does CardDeck make?
CardDeck makes the identity items people and organizations use every day, all from one account and one design system.
- [Digital business cards](/digital-business-card) with your photo, links and a one-tap save-to-contacts button, shared by QR code, link, email signature, message, social bio or NFC tag.
- QR codes, static and dynamic. Dynamic codes point to a short link you can change after printing.
- Barcodes in Code 128, EAN-13 and UPC-A, with check digits calculated for you.
- ID cards and badges: employee IDs with QR verification, student IDs, event badges and membership cards.
- Shareable profiles with your work, links and contact options.
- Batch generation that turns a CSV or Excel file into hundreds or thousands of cards, IDs, badges or codes in one job.
- Contact management that captures the details people share back when they open your card, ready to tag and export.
Teams get a shared workspace with locked brand templates, roles, an admin dashboard and one-click deactivation when someone leaves. You can see everything in one place on the features overview.
Who is CardDeck for?
CardDeck is for anyone who needs to identify themselves or the people they manage, from one person to thousands.
- Individuals and freelancers replace paper cards with a digital card they can update any time.
- Sales and client-facing teams give every rep a branded card and capture leads from every scan.
- HR and admin teams issue employee IDs that match the company brand and can be deactivated instantly.
- Schools and colleges generate a full year of student IDs from a class list.
- Event organizers create badges for every role from a registration list.
- Clubs and associations issue membership cards with tiers, member numbers and expiry dates.
- Shops and warehouses produce barcodes and QR labels in bulk.
What principles guide CardDeck?
Five principles shape every decision we make about the product.
- Professional by default. Templates are designed to look right before you change a thing. You shouldn't need a designer to look polished.
- Easy to share. QR code, link, message or tap. No app is needed to view a card, on either side of the exchange.
- Designed for teams. Shared templates, roles and central control are part of the product from day one, not an add-on.
- Built to scale. From one card to thousands, with bulk import and batch updates. A school's whole intake should take minutes, not weeks.
- Simple to manage. Edit once, update everywhere your card has been shared.
We add a sixth commitment that runs underneath all of them: respect for the people on the other side of the card. Scan analytics are aggregated counts, and we don't collect personal data from visitors unless they choose to share it. You can read more on our security and privacy page.
How CardDeck is priced
CardDeck has four plans: Free, Pro, Team and Business. The Free plan never expires and includes one digital card, two dynamic QR codes and unlimited static QR codes and barcodes. Pro is for individuals, Team is for small teams and shops with a three-seat minimum, and Business is for companies, schools and events that need unlimited cards, large batch jobs and SSO.
Every plan is listed in US dollars and Indian rupees, because we want teams in India to see the real price without converting currencies. See current prices on the pricing page.
