Simple digital business card pricing for individuals and teams

Choose by the number of people who need cards and the type of card you issue, not by feature lists. Most people can decide with three questions.

1. Is it just you? Start on Free. Move to Pro when you want more than one card (for example, separate cards for two roles), more than two dynamic QR codes, or to remove the CardDeck badge.
2. Do several people need cards on the same brand? Choose Team. It is priced per seat, includes locked brand templates, an admin dashboard and employee ID cards.
3. Are you issuing student IDs, event badges or membership cards, or running large batches? Choose Business. It is the only plan with those card types, batch jobs up to 25,000 rows, multiple brands and workspaces, SSO, a custom domain and API access.

If you are unsure, start free. Everything you build carries over when you upgrade.

A quick guide by role

• Freelancer, consultant or agent: Free, then Pro once you print QR codes on signs or flyers.
• Small shop or team of 3–25: Team.
• Company with several offices or brands: Business.
• School, college, event or club: Business, or ask about per-year and per-event pricing.

Team is billed per seat: $6 per seat per month, or $5 per seat per month billed yearly (₹299 / ₹249). The minimum is 3 seats. Each seat includes one card, and the workspace can also hold shared cards that aren't tied to a person — a reception, shop or support card.

Some worked examples (prices exclude applicable taxes):

• 3 seats, yearly: 3 × $5 = $15 a month, or $180 a year. In INR, 3 × ₹249 = ₹747 a month.
• 3 seats, monthly: 3 × $6 = $18 a month.
• 10 seats, yearly: 10 × $5 = $50 a month, or $600 a year. In INR, 10 × ₹249 = ₹2,490 a month, or ₹29,880 a year.
• 10 seats, monthly: 10 × $6 = $60 a month, or ₹2,990 at ₹299 per seat.
• 25 seats, yearly: 25 × $5 = $125 a month, or $1,500 a year.

At around 30 seats on yearly billing, Team's per-seat total reaches Business's starting price of $149 a month. From that point, compare the two on features — student IDs, badges, membership cards, multiple brands, SSO and the larger batch limit — rather than price alone. Each plan has limits on the things that cost CardDeck to run or that scale with your organization. Here is what each limit counts.

• Digital cards — published cards in the account: 1 on Free, 5 on Pro, 1 per seat plus shared cards on Team, unlimited on Business.
• Dynamic QR codes — codes that point to an editable short link and record scans: 2, 50, 200 and unlimited.
• Static QR codes and barcodes — unlimited on every plan, because the data lives in the code itself.
• Batch rows per job — the maximum rows in one spreadsheet upload: 25, 500, 2,000 and 25,000. A larger list can be split across several jobs.
• Contacts captured — people who shared their details back through your cards: 50, 1,000, 5,000 and unlimited.
• ID cards and badges — none on Free; personal IDs on Pro; employee IDs on Team; student IDs, event badges and membership cards on Business.
• Branding — Free cards show a small CardDeck badge; Pro removes it; Team adds locked templates; Business adds multiple brands and workspaces.
• Analytics — none on Free; basic analytics with CSV export on Pro; team analytics, an admin dashboard and CRM export on Team; advanced analytics and export on Business.

If you reach a limit, upgrade to the next plan or free up room — for example by retiring dynamic QR codes you no longer print.

CardDeck lists prices in INR as well as USD. Pro is ₹399 a month or ₹299 a month billed yearly. Team is ₹299 per seat a month or ₹249 per seat billed yearly, with a 3-seat minimum. Business starts at ₹9,999 a month, with custom pricing for larger volumes.

Over a year, Pro costs ₹3,588 on yearly billing versus ₹4,788 paying monthly. A five-person Team costs ₹1,245 a month on yearly billing (5 × ₹249). Use the currency switch at the top of the page to see every plan in rupees. Prices exclude applicable taxes.

Yearly billing is charged once a year and costs less per month. It saves 25% on Pro ($6 instead of $8) and on Business ($149 instead of $199), and about 17% on Team ($5 instead of $6 per seat).

Monthly makes sense while you are testing CardDeck with a team, or for a short project. Yearly is better once cards are printed and in use, because your dynamic QR codes need to stay active for as long as the print is in circulation. You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time from billing settings.

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated, so you pay only the difference for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, and your cards stay online in the meantime.

When you move to a smaller plan:

• Static QR codes and barcodes keep working — the information is stored in the code.
• Dynamic QR codes over the new limit are listed so you can choose which to keep active.
• Contacts can be exported as CSV or vCard before you switch.

Before you downgrade, export anything you want to keep and check which printed materials use dynamic codes.

Yes. If you issue cards in batches rather than per seat, ask about volume pricing for one-off and annual runs. Education pricing covers student and staff IDs per academic year, with batch import and roll-over to the next year.
